This was a winter morning as I drove from Hubli towards Udupi and found this place to be captivating set up of few Indian rural cottages nestled amidst a lush green landscape and lit up by the bright sun evoking a sense of peace and tranquility. I decided to change the color palette to muted blues, purples, and grays to evoke a sense of coolness and stillness, typical of winter. To me the painting celebrates the simplicity and charm of traditional Indian hamlet.

This is Hampta Pass at 15000 ft in upper Himalayas depicting a serene and expansive winter landscape, captures the tranquil beauty of nature in the colder months. The snow-covered mountains in the background are sharply defined, standing majestically against a dynamic sky. The various shades of blue used in the sky enhance the cold atmosphere and add a sense of movement, suggesting wind.
