Graduated from Goa College of Art, Panaji, Goa in 1982.
Has been a member of "Contemporary Colorz" artist's group and has had various group shows and one man shows at the "Flying Dutchman Gallery of Art", Goa between 1989-1993 and at " Galleria Ralino" Panaji, Goa, "Art Chamber", Goa from 1995 onwards.
Held one man and group shows at "Sunaprant Art Centre", Goa and Classic Source Art Gallery and Gallery Beyond, Mumbai and so also in Delhi, Kolkata, Paris, Berlin and Stockholm.
Works in the collection of National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai, Jehangir Nicholson, Haresh Chaganlal and various private collections in India, UK, France Germany, Austria, Sweden etc.

The 63 years old veteran abstract painter has been steadily working on his "mark making" ever since he graduated from Goa College of Art in 1982. 40 years of practicing abstract painting, a genre that refuses to depict the physical world.
He has created a distinct visual style and language. His images throb with emotion. Strong textures and colours flare in one work, while a horde of grey despairing lines rush into black in another.
