This was a winter morning as I drove from Hubli towards Udupi and found this place to be captivating set up of few Indian rural cottages nestled amidst a lush green landscape and
lit up by the bright sun evoking a sense of peace and tranquility.

I decided to change the color palette to muted blues, purples, and grays to evoke a sense of coolness and stillness, typical of winter.

To me the painting celebrates the simplicity and charm of traditional Indian hamlet.
